External cladding - Decorative exterior features (ribbon waffle panels)

Design & Display Structures have designed, manufactured and installed GRP waffle panels to external facades of the £80m St Pancras Chambers development, a luxury apartment and hotel complex.

Appointed by brickwork specialists, Irvine Whitlock, the D&D team worked closely with I-W and associated trades in a phased installation taking place throughout 2010.

GRP panels run horizontally with the ribbon windows and vertically to cover in service duct risers.

Manufactured in Midland Red colour the GRP panels give exactly the solid ironwaffle appearance the architect hoped for and compliment the finish of the windows and curtain walling.

Manhattan Loft Corporation are the developers behind the project, Galliford Try are main contractors and RHWL / Richard Griffiths the Architects.
