Design & Display Structures stays faithful to architecture

Design & Display Structures has been appointed by Ahmadiyya Muslim Association to design, manufacture and install a series of GRP Islamic architectural features for Sheffield and Bradford Mosque.

The two contracts, worth £90,000 altogether, include a total of six minaret towers, and two domes that faithfully replicate traditional Islamic structures.

Keeping within a strict time frame, the manufacture of two 6.4m minarets and two 2.7m minarets has been completed for Bradford Mosque, with installation due early November 2008.

The design of Sheffield Mosque's pair of 6.4m towers and domes is already in progress, with manufacture and installation planned to commence late autumn 2008.
